- Auto 68RFE (found in auto based 2500 pickups)
- Auto Aisin (Found in auto based 3500/4500/pickups and Cab and Chassis / incomplete trucks
How to tell the difference in auto transmissions
- 68RFE: the pan looks like a turtle shell. The dipstick is on the passenger side of the engine bay
- Aisin: trans pan is flat and says Aisin on the side of it. The dipstick is on the driver side of the engine bay
